Battery & charging
FOX rates Live Valve battery life at 16-20 hours depending on terrain and settings. A full charge over micro-USB takes 1.5-2 hours; a 15-minute top-up is sufficient for about two hours of riding.
Power management
The system enters open mode and shuts down when the battery is critically low, and auto-shuts down after 1.5 hours without motion. FOX recommends manually powering down to preserve battery life.
Compatibility & service
Live Valve requires frame-specific engineering: controller mounting points and rear-axle accelerometer integration. Bluetooth-equipped phones control button-less systems via the dedicated app. Recalibration via the Owner's Guide is the recommended first troubleshooting step.
