The Infinity Link is a mechanism built for Yeti by FOX. All technical inquiries about the mechanism, including warranty, should be directed to an authorized Yeti dealer.
Maintenance of the link depends on usage and environmental conditions. The only service to perform on the mechanism is to keep the exterior clean and to re-grease. Servicing more frequently than necessary is excessive, messy, and unnecessary.
Service procedure
Different regions and riding conditions may benefit from alternative greases; in all usage conditions, Heavy Duty Yeti grease will suffice.
- Step 1 — Clean the exterior. Use only isopropyl alcohol or soapy water with a clean lint-free rag or paper towel.
- Step 2 — The needle-type grease fittings require a generous push to seal properly while injecting grease.
- Step 3 — Wipe off any extruded grease with a clean lint-free towel. No external lubrication of the shafts or seals is necessary.
