The SB100 Switch Infinity Link is a mechanism built for Yeti by FOX. All technical inquiries, including warranty, should be directed to an authorized Yeti dealer. Maintenance frequency depends on usage and environmental conditions; the only service required is to keep the exterior clean and to re-grease.
Service procedure
Use a Heavy Duty Molybdenum grease such as Mobil XHP 222 Special or equivalent.
- Step 1 — Clean the inside of both main pivot bolts using a Q-tip.
- Step 2 — Remove the rear fender by pulling on the side edges at top and bottom; the fender unclips from the frame hardware. Clean the link exterior with isopropyl alcohol or soapy water on a clean rag or Q-tip. If the fender is retained by four screws, contact an authorized Yeti dealer.
- Step 3 — Inject grease through the Zerk fittings in the main-pivot bolts until grease extrudes from the shaft seals; a generous push is required to seal the needle fitting.
- Step 4 — Wipe off excess grease. No external shaft / seal lubrication is needed.
- Step 5 — Reinstall the fender with the small seal oriented to the top; push onto the frame hardware until it clips top and bottom.
